Got this from Rotoworld.

Red Sox signed LHP Nick Bierbrodt, who had been with the Indians, to a one-year contract.
We didn't expect to see Bierbrodt get a major league deal, but this is still a nice pickup by Boston. The 25-year-old left-hander has always had above average stuff and he seems to be steadily regaining his control after experiencing some Rick Ankiel-type problems. Although it may not happen in 2004, he'll probably emerge as a quality reliever someday. Odds are that he'll begin the season at Triple-A Pawtucket

Good signing. I was sad to see him leave AZ. I'm not sure if he is fully recovered from being shot. I wish AZ would have gotten him. He is still a decent prospect.
