Rams | Turley Gets An Extension - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
18:14 PT: Updating previous reports, Len Pasquarelli reports for ESPN.com St. Louis Rams OT Kyle Turley agreed to a five-year contract extension that is worth $26.5 million in so-called "new money." The deal includes combined guaranteed money, between the signing bonus and other payments, of $12 million. The extension segment of the contract moves Turley to among the four highest paid offensive linemen in the league.
Damn this was a good deal for the rams...they give up a second round pick next season and they get turley for five years..although not at a bargin contract price..makes you wish the cardinals would get involved in some trades..we did not need an olineman of this stature..but we sure need guys at other positions.
Rams should be near done in the FA market after signing turley...they will need to score 40 points a game to win..I think their defense has gotten worse.. Odd that they let their best blocking fullback go over a $750,000 roster bonus..and then turned around and paid huge dough to turley..
