I just dont understand how this could possibly happen? Aren't the Cowboys the greatest team in the history of the NFL???

During the pregame I listened to Steve Young GUSH over the Cowboys for 90mins telling us they were a SuperBowl team and that they were the best team in the NFL. Then I listened to Joworski compare them to the 72 Dolphins and he also said they were playing at the highest level and they might be unbeatable!!!

Then they got beat by a 3rd string rookie QB at home. Oops

Just like how 3 weeks ago all these same idiots (STEVE YOUNG) were saying Tom Brady was done and the Patriots sucked and needed to start rebuilding and move on from Brady.

Steve Young is a moron please take him off the air.

This was a humbling loss for Dallas. They looked a lot like the cowboys of old. I'm very nervous that they will be blown out on Sunday.

Anyone notice McCoy getting whisked away from a post-game interview on the field and the handler yelling "No means no"? Who just lost out on that interview? I wonder if it was live on that station.
Yeah. I was wondering that too. The handler had to physically push the reporter away from McCoy. I wouldnt have been surprised if the reporter had gone after the handler.

I don't believe in those clowns called experts
they are getting a pay check and they are told what to say
don't you notice they all talk the same ESPN way

sadly also, KW became one of them
I really dunno wtf with him, he picked Eagles to beat us !

They're all idiots. And you know what, when they start talking about our greatness they're going to be just as stupid. They'll be the same dudes talking about us and we're going to love it.

Overtime.

Romo was so lucky on that drive with his fumble being recovered and his interception being taken back.

The play after the fumble should have ended the game. Blatant holding in the end zone by the Cowboys. Would have been a safety and basically ended it right then and there.

Silly rabbit, they will never talk about us! When we were going to the superbowl they didn't talk about us!!! lol

I remember once during Super Bowl week they did an hour long show on the superbowl "matchup" and the only mention of the Cardinals was when they were talking about how badly Pitt was going to beat us in the facet of the game or that.

I dont care that ESPN talks about front runners, that is there job. Why talk about Jacksonville right now? Now what I cant stand is their Cowboy/9er/Steeler/Peyton bias and obsession. Last year when Seattle was in the Super Bowl they could BARELY bring themselves to talk about them, it was all about Peyton. Even some of the post game shows barely talked about Seattle winning, they talked more about Peyton losing.

It's mostly about ratings, talk about the popular teams when they are good, but I swear it's mostly about the generation of talking heads they have on the shows right now. They are all retired guys in their 40's-50's who all remember the 80's as the glory days of football and man they just want everything to go back to how it was, where it's the Cowboys and 9ers and life was good.

That's why when the Chiefs, Cardinals or Seahawks etc are 6-1 they get the same 2 minute game recap as everyone else, but when the Cowboys are good they get 24 hours of wrap around dedicated coverage.

I'm really not complaining, just elaborating on how it is and why I think it is the way it is.

I counted about 6 blatant Cowboy holds that were completely ignored... One in the 4th where the guy was held twice on the same play.. The Redskin defender broke free from the mauling.. started heading to the QB.. then was bear-hugged from behind, all with the zebra looking right at it!!

I went ape-sheet, my wife's comment: "Geez, it's like your watching a Cards game in here"

Problem is, the Refs don't want to be the ones so called "beating" the Cowboys with a safety call. Unless it was 100% completely obvious (to us it was for sure bc we all hate the Cowboys), they are going to try and avoid that call. Same situation goes for Broncos and even the Pats IMO

I may have been as happy about that loss as I was for our win on a Sun lol. I just cannot stand Cowboy fans especially the ones here in AZ who have such a hatred for the Cards, I just don't get not liking your home team, maybe you're not a fan or you're from somewhere else and like that team but I don't understand the actual hatred that some spew here in AZ towards the Cards, it's weird.

Dallas Defensive Captain Justin Durant is done for the year with a torn biceps. He's their weakside LB and leads the team in tackles & forced fumbles.

Romo is going in for an MRI on his back today. He was already missing practices all season long to rest & strengthen his surgically repaired back. He was also taking Toradol shots for issues with his ribs & ankle.

Also, their LG Ronald Leary strained his groin and didn't play in OT. He's also getting an MRI & is questionable this week.

This is interesting. With all these new stadiums, I wonder why this is the case:

As part of the locker room evaluation, Romo certainly had immediate imaging to rule out transverse or spinous process fracture. Every NFL stadium is mandated to have X-ray facilities and a technician is present 90 minutes before a game until an hour after.

Undoubtedly, Romo will undergo an MRI Tuesday to confirm the contusion and rule out other injury. Jerry’s “Taj Mahal” stadium does not have a MRI machine. Only one stadium (Cincinnati) does and that is used as a public imaging center on non-game days. Kansas City has an MRI machine in its practice facility across the stadium parking lot. Regardless, I do not expect any surprises based on the MRI findings.

Dallas Morning News Article Last Year:

http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/2...romo-to-undergo-mri-on-sore-back-monday.html/

“We think it will be OK,” Jones said. “But it was a tightening. It wasn’t a contusion. It was a little tightening there. But we will work on that all week… He’s kind of getting some special treatment for it. It didn’t keep him from playing and won’t keep him from playing.”

The next day, they announced he'd have season-ending surgery.

Eerily similar to quotes from last night.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett says no results back on Tony Romo's back yet. On deciding on if he can play, "It's a medical decision."

Garrett wouldn't be able to answer anyway... Apparently Jones is the medical messenger in this outfit.

I honestly feel bad for Garrett, I think he's a decent coach but obviously a little insecure, you can see it in his eyes when JJ is yapping at him in the 4th, you know he just want's to tell him to piss off!

I agree with you about Garrett and jerry but I don't know that it is so much that he's not allowed but I guess that's possible with Jerry. Garrett rarely gives info to the media on anything important. It is usually leaked by jerry or someone else. That's how it is about everything.

I guess you see why any coach that is worth a darn can only stand so much of jerry before he walks out.

The longer this goes, the worse it is for your QB, I think. All the other players who underwent tests today have results in. Hours and hours later...nothing on Romo. I gotta think Dallas fans are pulling their hair out right now.

We still await the Romo test results but can confirm the cows are not looking for veteran qbs as would be the case if they feared the worst

I'm sure many are and I am very curious to know myself. I kinda always expect the worst. I just feel for the guy I like tony romo the person as well as the qb. He's a gamer, but I don't want to see him in a wheel chair the rest of his life or worse. At this point if his health is in question I'd rather see what weeden can do and hope that tony can get well. The season flashed before every cowboy fan when he was on his back.
