Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with the Washington Redskins on the eve of training camp. Kerrigan, a first-round draft pick out of Purdue in 2011, has started all 64 games in his four-year career with Washington, totaling 38 sacks, 15 forced fumbles and two interceptions - both returned for touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Kerrigan ranked second in the NFC last season with a career-high 13.5 sacks for the Redskins, who went 4-12 and finished last in their division for the sixth time in seven years.
