Reliving Jamie Vardy's strike during Leicester's great escape

Times have changed at the King Power Stadium as Leicester City are destined to return to the Championship after a dismal 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

With Ruud van Nistelrooy's Foxes incapable of pulling out of a flat spin that sees them rooted to 19th in the table and closing on mathematical certainty, Leicester fans could certainly use a pick-me-up.

Maybe Jamie Vardy can help.

It was ten years ago today when the iconic Leicester hitman sealed a comeback 3-2 win at West Brom during the club's great escape act during their successful effort of avoiding the drop.

That end of season run of form would carry into the next campaign under new manager Claudio Ranieri, when they would shock the world and win the title in one of the great stories.

Though the club will have to go again next season in a bid to return to the Premier League promised land, past glories are proof positive that the club have it in them to do just that.
