What did he look like? Didn't he play, like, defensive tackle or something? What's his number, again?

If you want to know one reason why Okeafor and Berry aren't terrorizing QBs, that's the guy. He's getting single-blocked now and not doing anything. I hope he's hurt, because I don't know if an 0-3 team will somehow get him motivated...

I think its the hurt ribs-- hurt in the preseason twice -- the Cards have said nothing but i am sure its a factor

anyone who has had a cartilage tear in the ribcage knows just how painful it is to move and use the upper body

I have to beleive that its wearing on him

Who is this guy you're talking about? Also, Chike and Berry need to get to the QB.

If he is hurt then bench him until he is better. Cause he is a HUGE problem right now.

If its a rib injury it could take all season to heal right. I thought the rib injury happened in the preseason  . If so I wonder why the coaching staff would allow him to play in meaningless preseason games with those injured ribs.

Who would take his place? Fred Wakefield?

dockett is beginning to demonstrate that he is clearly over-rated, and was drafted at about the right spot he deserved to be drafted at.

I have been saying that for a while. He played well against the Rams, but he is just so inconsistent.

I think he's the cat's pajamas and would excel with a strong dt next to him.

Maybe he was already working on his next column for this site,

Now it's "when the wheels come off".

I think that DD is pretty banged up but is trying to do the best that he can. I agree that it would be nice to get him out of there if he can't play but who are you going to put in there? I saw enough of DD last year to know that his motor is always running and that he is going to give you every thing that he has.

Maybe one of our 2 other DTs, or the one we have on the PS.

You are kidding right? Cut somebody to bring up Bulman? A DT rotation of Moore, Kolodziej, and Bulman? God help us!

One of Darnell's biggest attributes is that he keeps his pad level low and explodes through the gap. I'm wondering whether cracked ribs either prevent his staying low or make it tough for him to take that quick first step.

One thing's for sure - the expression on his face as the Seattle game wound down looked as though someone had shot his dog.

Outside of a few basic fundamental things you've got to do, I think playing NT is less a matter of technique and more one of personal attributes like strength, leverage, discipline, toughness, nose for the ball and low center of gravity. I think Bulman has many of these attributes and wouldn't be unhappy if Russell Davis took a breather for at least a couple of weeks and Bulman was called up. (No comment on Moore. Never saw him play).

Bulman is only 290. I think he'd get mauled in the middle. You would also have to either put Davis on IR or cut somebody to "call" him up. The NFL needs a 15 day DL like baseball has.

Moore played in both the Rams and Seahawks games so if you have Tivo'd those you can check him out. I'm going to do that tonight.

he's injured.

His ribs are trashed. He's not going to be the player he was this season. It's another, "wait till next year."

I don't care if he's injured! He's not preforming now! Cut him! I want now. I don't care about the future!
