Anyone going to see this today? I might check it out. My wife and I saw Rent at the Orpheum last year for the first time and enjoyed it, so I thought we might like this too.

I'm thinking about seeing it but I'm afraid the rest of the songs won't be near as catchy as what's in the trailer.

I saw the original cast that is in this movie on Broadway in New York City during the first year it ran. Great show!

525,600 minutes.

That song is imbedded in my brain, and I've never seen the play or movie. My wife got the bootleg in NY last weekend. That's all she watches now! I will have to buy this movie (plus the $30 soundtrack!) as soon as it comes out or else.

How much does a bootleg cost? Is it really worth that lower price to see a horrible version of a movie?

I saw this in the theater while living in london - hated it

if it weren't the for the ladies we went with, probably would of walked out - and I like musicals

just didn't dig this for some reason and have little interest in the movie

I think they're about $10. As for me, I can't sit through a bootleg, nor have I ever purchased one, my wife was that desperate to see it, so she brought it. Otherwise I would have shot that down with the quickness!

If you have to pay $10, why not just see it in the theatres???

$10 that's inflation right there

used to be right off the 30th street station subway stop on market you could get "cds/movies five dollars - womens socks two dollars"

and they kept the good movies in a box on the ground (and by good movies I mean nasty ghetto porn......)

I just watched it. I usually don’t like musicals, but I enjoyed this one. The entire time I kept thinking the Mark character looked familiar. After watching it I looked him up and saw that he was the boy in Adventures In Babysitting that had a crush on Elisabeth Shue.
