Tyler Warren is very much on the New York Jets' radar ahead of the 2025 NFL draft, according to one report.
Per NFL draft insider Tony Pauline from Sportskeeda, the Jets like Penn State tight end Tyler Warren. So much so, Pauline reports that the team want to have "multiple meetings" with him before the draft:
In total in 2024, Warren put up 104 catches for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns. And, on the ground, he added 26 carries for 218 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Adding Warren could be one of the final pieces added to an overhauled offense for the Jets this offseason. Warren could be a safety option for new quarterback Justin Fields while also complementing No. 1 receiver Garrett Wilson.
Over the past three seasons, Tyler Conklin has been New York's top tight end. He signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as a free agent but he also never had Warren's dynamic potential.
The Jets currently hold the No. 7 overall selection at the upcoming draft. At this point, it's clear Warren will not make it out of the first round so he is on the team's radar for that pick.
Jets Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 offseason.
