The Green Bay Packers are promoting Maurice Drayton to special teams coordinator, multiple outlets reported Thursday. Drayton, 44, has been the Packers' assistant special teams coach for the past three seasons. He replaces Shawn Mennenga, who was reportedly let go by head coach Mike LaFleur on Wednesday in the wake of the Packers' 31-26 loss Sunday to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game.
