Reports: Pacman signed, will join team today

NASHVILLE — Members of the security staff at the Tennessee Titans' training facility were told to be ready for the arrival of cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones on Monday evening.
Later, Nashville television stations reported that the sixth overall selection in this year's draft had agreed to contract terms and was scheduled to join the team for its workouts today. The long-awaited accord between the club and its highest draft choice in 10 years (terms were not immediately available but are believed to be for approximately $18 million in guaranteed money) apparently has been reached and has ended the most protracted contract talks in the Middle Tennessee history of the franchise.
The Titans opened training camp July 28 and had their first on-field workouts the following day. Jones has been absent the entire time while his representatives and general manager Floyd Reese negotiated in fits and starts while every other Tennessee draft pick and other first-rounders across the league had deals in place. After former Auburn running back Ronnie Brown signed with Miami early in the day Monday, Jones was one of only three first-round picks who had not come to terms.
As recently as Friday, attempts between the two sides to get together failed, and Jones' agent Michael Huyghue returned to his Jacksonville office after having spent fewer than 48 hours in Middle Tennessee.
Jones has spent the last several weeks in Jacksonville working with a personal trainer under the direction of Huyghue. He also has dealt with several legal issues and last week filed a $7.5 million civil lawsuit against the manager of a downtown nightclub.
"I will tell you that I think in terms of where he is today physically ... when he reported to the club in May, right after he was drafted, I don't think he was in as good a shape — close to as good a shape — as he's in today," Huyghue said recently. "His weight is much better (than) when we were first working with him. I think emotionally he's in a much stronger position. ... I think in terms of putting him in the best position to go forward and be a representative player in this community, I think he's in an excellent position for that."

WOW!! Didn't see this one coming so soon after the law-suit...
That leaves Benson and Pollack as the only unsigned players. BTW Isn't it pretty embarrasing that the Bengals can't get the #18 pick signed??
