I've never seen any of the franchise outside if video games.. Probably should some day

Cancelled. I have to say I thought there was a tinge of potential but some of it was really bad and they took the entire season to move one inch on the story. Most people who were familiar with the game knew what Resident Evil was about. This show felt like it never "got to it" so to speak. Not shocked this is dunzo. Maybe they would have gotten there in Season 2. The "Fox Like" quick hook continues at Netflix.
