WEST LAFAYETTE − The Ridgewood Chess Club recently held its annual winter tournament.
Jacob Blackwell won the high school division with Grady Alan in second place, according to an announcement.
The sixth and seventh grade division was won by Jackson Grimmett with Hunter Lahna in second place and Allister Chiapetta in third place.
In the fourth and fifth grade division, the champion was Elijah Smoulder with Blake Bates in second place, Gavin Phillips in third place, Kason Mercer in fourth place and Bill Craddock in fifth place.
