All of a sudden, three Suns are looking like steals of the draft(unless you want to call Wade a steal, which is negotiable). Though it should be said, only one of them was drafted by the Suns, and another should have been.

There were a lot of serciceable players in this draft, and a few real superstars.

Guys picked way below where they would have if redone:

• Dwyane Wade at 5
• Luke Ridnour at 14
• David West at 18
• Boris Diaw at 21
• Kendrick Perkins at 27
• Leandro Barbosa at 28
• Josh Howard at 29
• Luke Walton at 32
• Willie Green at 41
• Zaza Pachulia at 42
• Mo Williams at 47
• James Jones at 49
• Kyle Korver at 51

The last three picks of the first round were pretty spectacular picks for their location. There were some pretty good players available in the 40s too.

Now for players who had no business going where they did.

• Darko Milicic at 2
• Marcus Banks at 13
• Reece Gaines at 15
• Troy Bell at 16
• Zarko Cabarkapa at 17(although if it weren't for Danny Fortson he'd be averaging 37/17/16/9)
• Travis Outlaw at 23

So, in the end, a ton of players dropped, there was one monumental mistake, but there really weren't that many first rounders who completely fell off the earth.

The Suns are pretty good at drafting but Zarko was a dud.

Zarko was showing signs of becoming very good until the wrist injury incident made him so gun shy. :(

I don't see any of these players as ones the suns drafted?

San Antonio drafted Barbosa for Phoenix, then immediately traded his rights to us for a future 1st. I'm pretty sure that's who he was talking about.

He's also talking about Diaw. He said current Suns.

In a case like Barbosa's, while the Suns didn't technically draft him, they did select him at that position in that round, so I'd say it's close enough.

Actually, I thought that second part where he said one was drafted by the Suns referred to the entire list, which of course included Zarko Cabarkapa. If I misread, then I misread it. No need for you to be a jerk about it.

Allow me to clarify:

Three players from that draft are currently on the Suns, and all three were steals at their positions: Diaw, Barbosa and Jones.

Of the three players currently on the Suns, one was drafted by them: Barbosa-- and yes, I consider him a Suns draft pick. They made the trade in advance and chose the player through San Antonio.

This is really funny. Nice work.
