Richard Sherman is preparing to play in Super Bowl LIV as a member of the San Francisco 49ers, but they weren't the only team interested in signing the veteran cornerback before the 2018 season. The Detroit Lions made a run at Sherman in free agency and even offered him more money, he recently told The Athletic's David Lombardi. The Lions had just hired Matt Patricia as their new head coach.
