No, thanks for posting it. A major change -- the guy who runs the business side of the Suns. Reading the details makes it understandable.
I have no problem with gays, but there is something kind of funny about him being hired right away to work in the San Francisco area.
Hired by the Warriors as president and chief operating officer.

IMO, the only thing that's sure, Sarver will sign the replacement for Welts (if he hires one) to a cheaper salary. Most everyone from the JC era is gone.
Sarver will most likely have Babby add Welts old responsibilities to his own.
At first I thought you were suggesting this whole story was funny (as in fishy) because he got hired right away. It took me a minute to realize that the San Francisco portion of your comment was more than a casual reference. I too found that fitting although it's not much of a surprise as Rick mentioned he wanted to get back to work in the same or related field as soon as he could find something. I guess Sacramento (where his life partner is based) is close enough to the Bay Area for him.

If you or I were job hunting, we would try to line up a new position before leaving the old one. Especially one in a different locale. And especially when working for a buffoon.I too found that fitting although it's not much of a surprise as Rick mentioned he wanted to get back to work in the same or related field as soon as he could find something. It is not inconceivable that Rick did just that. Or had a verbal agreement that there would be a job waiting for him with the Kings after he left the Suns.
