Machota: It's interesting that we haven't seen more from Jourdan Lewis. Anthony Brown has been the team's nickel corner, so Lewis, last year's third-round pick, has only been on the field for one defensive snap through two games. I know Kris Richard prefers bigger corners, but I just expected Lewis would get more opportunities early in his second season. Lewis played in 15 games last season, starting seven. Q: Has the Cowboys defense's performance effectively sent the Earl Thomas ship sailing? Machota: I wouldn't necessarily say that. If Seattle's price came down, I'm sure the Cowboys would still be interested. Dallas' defense appears to be very good, but that doesn't mean they can't get better.
