Went to my first Yankee game in 1969. And growing up 20 miles away from the Stadium, I've been to hundreds of Yankee games over my lifetime. Can't begin to imagine what it's like not hearing Mr. Sheppard's voice over the P.A. I think it is an amazing testament to the man that he is so loved and revered when you stop and consider the amount of Hall of Famers that came thru his workplace, and the number of championships...

RIP 'ol friend. You were truly one of a kind and indeed, a master craftsman.
