I've been seeing reports on Facebook and Twitter that Flip, age 60, has passed away. Very surprised. R.I.P. Flip.

The Hodgkin lymphoma was reported as treatable and curable by doctors in August.

It's incredible how fast this went, I think he was just diagnosed in June. Still young, so sad.

Woah, they just announced a couple of days ago that he would miss the season for treatment.
