Have never seen any of the Harry Potter films, but remember him from the Bond films Goldeneye and The World Is Not Enough.

72 is far too young. He absolutely owned the Hagrid role but he's been excellent in everything I've seen him in. I never really took notice of him until Goldeneye but not long after that he played a local mob boss in one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies (Montana with Kyra Sedgwick, Robin Tunney, Stanley Tucci and John Ritter). Great name, great actor, RIP Mr Coltrane.
