Sad news. Former Cardinals coach Vince Tobin passed away this morning. He was 79. Condolences to his wife, Kathy, and their family.

Met coach Tobin at a team event in Tucson back in 1999 (I think). He signed my helmet along with several players including Pat Tilman, Jake Plummer, etc..He was a nice man and he took our Cards to the playoffs (including a road win in big D). RIP Coach Tobin

I will never forget running onto the field after the Chargers game. I could hardly believe Jacke made that kick. Absolute joy. I am not sure I was happier after NFC championship in 2008. I know it was more fun. People grabbing turf, the goalposts coming down.
