They just opened a store in the Arcadia area. OMG. I am so thrilled. I haven't had good water ice since I moved here. At home, I would always go to the mom and pop shops and never went to Rita's; but, man, I am so happy they are in the Valley!

I never understood why they (or someone) didn't plant a water ice place down by ASU
I had to walk past "caribbean water ice" coming back from class ..... just a little storefront ......... my god though - a large mango gelati on a hot day was about heaven

This place is amazing. They have 2 places near my apartment in Connecticut. Their watermelon and black cherry flavors are the best. Worth the drive to get some.

There is one on 83rd and Union Hills, my wife and her friends love it.
Personally, I don't get it. I'd just rather have ice cream. Although, I was never a big fan of snow cones, icees, or slurpees which are also of the favored ice family.

I was thrilled to find a Hawaiian shave ice place. There's one on 40th St. and Bell. Love me a half/half with watermelon and mango.
