RJ might not pitch in the playoffs

Having a herniated disk in 2003 and surgery, I can't even imagine him being able to walk to the ballpark, let alone pitch. If any of you have experienced that, you understand. I would gladly endure childbirth (without pain medication) to triplets/quads/quints (you get the point) gladly before I would endure the back again. Ironically, I herniated my disk while watching RJ pitch at BOB while sitting behind home plate.
He needs surgery soon and by next season he will be fine. The only cure is surgery. The epidurals are like swatting an elephant with a fly swatter...

I wonder if RJ feels the pressure that he must pitch next week? He probably wants to atone for his last playoff game(game 3 against the Angels) where he got hit hard.
