They let Dragic go to Phoenix and now have traded Lowry to the Raptors. After speculation that they'd keep both, they're keeping neither.

The terms I heard for the Lowry trade seem looney. A protected future first? Thats it?

Knicks will match Lin after losing out on Nash.

Houston just has a fire-sale. They realized they need to bottom out, something the Suns have failed to acknowledge. Give it 5 more years and our FO will see the light too.

Houston had great young pg's and they moved them. They seem to have no plan whatsoever.

What I read is that they're trying to work it out so that the pick is guaranteed to be in the lottery -- in other words, that the Rockets don't collect until Toronto misses the playoffs.

A cheaper Lin makes more sense than an expensive Gordon, imo.

But to get him past the Knicks matching you couldn't go too low any how.

So it's really 50/50 proposition getting either one just for the signing $$.

ahahahaha the Rockets are meeting with Aaron Brooks now.

Imagine Dragic goes back into his shell and Brooks scores 20ppg for Houston again. This is just weird.

Internet sources say the Raptors will send as many as four draft picks to the Rockets, two first-round picks and two second-round pick. One of the first rounders is to be a lottery pick.

They get the Steve Nash package for Lowry but Raptors picks should be bad.

4 picks?? This can't be true. If so, Calangelo is off his rocker and should be fired immediately.

I don't think the details have been officially leaked but from what I read is they only sent 1 1st round pick with the following protections: 2013 Rockets get pick if it is between 4-14, 2014 if it's between 3-14, 2015-2017 between 2-14. If Houston fails to collect a pick after 5 years they lose it.
