I cannot believe my bride and I had never seen this before..... but anyway, we watched it for the first time the other day. I guess we just didn't get it, cuz outside of a cute moment or two and a memorable song (time warp) we thought it was basically an excuse to have men run around in corsets, garters and mesh nylon stockings.Is there some secret meaning here that we don't get or is it just a grouping of skits about androgynous traits and cross dressing? Or worse, is it really about nothing and it's just silly and naughty for fun? Help!

As a movie, it's about as bad as they come. As a costume party with strangers it can be a lot of fun. See it in a theater and join the cast and it's a great experience. Otherwise, it's just tedium.

The movie itself is horrible. To get the charm and appeal of this, go see it in the theater. The crowd is just as entertaining as the movie itself.

Well, it is still awful, but it sounds like you did it wrong. If you don't become a part of the theater "cast", it's a lot like being the only sober person at a table of drunken fools.
