I would like to see the Suns pursue Rodney White if the offer for Q is matched

He is an unrestricted free agent so our capspace wont be tied to him for 15 days and I think we can bring him in for a reasonable amount of money

He is 6-9 and weights 230 lbs so he can probably play 3 positions for us (SG, SF, PF) and boost our bench strength

Last season he averaged....

PPG 7.5
RPG 2.3
APG 0.8
FG% .459
3PT% .379

in 13.7 minutes!!

I know he can score but I read somewhere that he is a bit lazy and his defense is really bad... can anyone confirm this?

He might not be in the same caliber as Q but I think he will definately help out the Suns

its not THAT bad but its kinda bad. he can shoot pretty well, but he cant dribble worth a damn. hes turnover prone but instant offense. D is average at best...poor lateral movement. i dont think hes lazy - not sure where that came from. overall a decent player.

He can be a decent player, but there is probably no room on the suns for him.

He plays the two forward positions, I do not think he can play 2 guard.

With Zarko, Vroman, Lampe off the bench and big minutes to Marion & Amare, there is probably no time for him. CJ will also play some sf.

:)

Ooh, just what the Suns need--a one-dimensional scorer to be their third- or fourth-string SF.

I'd rather have Mengke Bateer. ;)

Look, if you can learn Cabarkapa and Vujanic...

Oh, you think I can actually pronounced these names.

Good grief, I had to look up Vujanic for a month after the Suns got his rights.

BTW, speaking of Vujanic, the only issue on signing him was the price of his buyout. If the Q does not come over, it is not completely out of the question that he might still end up on the Suns this year.
