Roenick: 'I'm not No. 1'

"I hate it. There's not a Number 1 center. There's not a Number 4 center. This team has to have the mentality that everybody is important. Everybody will be playing different minutes and have different roles, but I really want to stay away from getting into who's got the Number 1 spot and whose team it is. It's nobody's team. It's everybody's team. I was really uncomfortable with the depiction that JR is taking the top spot because I'm just coming in here to help the team win and not take over and be 'the guy.' "

I love him saying this. This is getting me excited.

The cynical view is that he is doing some early CYA, but I like Roenick and I hope that he has a good year.
