Bruised thumb and all, Tony Romo connected with Terrell Owens for a 10-yard touchdown pass to help the Dallas Cowboys take a 7-0 lead over the Carolina Panthers after the first quarter Saturday night. Romo capped a 13-play, 70-yard drive by throwing a quick sideline hitch to Owens, who shook off a tackle from Richard Marshall and trotted into the end zone with 1:30 left in the period.
