No to Nocioni, but yea with both Morris and Warrick struggling, Turiaf wouldnt be a bad option.

I think Chicago will pick up Nocioni anyway.

Turiaf is a big body the Suns could use.

Some interesting names are becoming available. I'm guessing they are all going to go to contenders though. I don't know what's wrong with Hickson. When given playing time and starting spot, he can put up big numbers. Off the bench he is useless it seems. Turiaf would be a nice pickup, but the Suns don't have a roster spot and are probably unwilling to pay someone not on active roster. Plus he'll have better options. Kapono is also available if anyone's looking for a three-point shooter.

Competition will be fierce for Hickson but I'd love to see the Suns bring him here.

14/10 last year with ridiculous athleticism. Maybe it was just a bad situation for him in Sac? Nash would definitely help.

Ha, remember when Cleveland wouldn't give up Hickson as part of an Amare trade? If they had been willing to let Hickson go the might still have LBJ.

at lease Sacramento put a good amount of protection on that pick.

crazy to think though that Amare for Hickson was being talked about. ugh, just goes to show the value of unproven talent can be ridiculously high

Yes, I mentioned this on another thread. This was beyond dumb on Cleveland's part.

Turiaf will NEVER EVER be in a Suns uniform. He's done too much damage and injured too many of our Suns players in the past to ever want him here. I don't care if he could help us or not. Just say NO!!!!

Who did he injure?

It's not like he's Danny Fortson (Zarko Cabarkapa) or Robert Horry (Nash check into the scorer's table) or even Randy Livingston (Googs knee explosion).

I'd take Turiaf's defense & toughness over Warrick's occasional offense and complete lack of defense anytime.

Turiaf will never come here, he will go to some playoff team to be a role player. Why the heck would we want him? I am not high on Markieff but he better get minutes instead of someone like Turiaf.

If the Suns were serious about making the playoffs, Turiaf would help them contend with opposing teams that are more physical. Also I understand the Celtics are one of the teams trying to sign Turiaf. Their record is not much better than the Suns.

The whole thing for me, the Suns should be all in for making the playoffs or content to slide down in the standings by letting the chips fall where they may which includes sticking with Markieff as the primary backup PF. I'm not knocking Markieff, but he is not ready to compete with bigger teams inside... now. He is still a rookie. So I'm torn. The Suns are sort of like a person who cannot decide, with one foot in the water and one foot on dry land.

Also I played the draft lottery today and I got the Suns into the third position on the third or fourth try. I do not want the Suns to fall out of the lottery as much as I like them playing hard and getting some wins.

I'm not so sure about that. It seems to take several months for physical players to adjust to the way they have to play in a Suns uniform. At this point in the season, I really doubt he could find a happy medium in the limited minutes he'd see. Until Phoenix changes it's culture and establishes itself as a defensive force, refs will never allow someone like Turiaf to stay on the floor very long. If he could tone it down to a Lou Amundson or Mark West level, perhaps he'd have value but I don't think he could figure that out overnight.

Heat sign Turiaf. I think it should be illegal for a team like the Heat to sign MORE players during the season. They need more help? They have Bosh, Amare, and Wade and they need more? WTH.

I think you mean Lebron but I understand your point.
