Brutal year for Olson Pierre. Maybe the guy most hurt by transition to 4-3.
On his way to the Giants, IMHO.
The way I look at it, we lost an Olson Pierre and gained a Rodney Gunter.
Olson Pierre was on a minimum salary. Gunter reaches free agency after this year (I think) and will get $3 - $5 million per season.
So do I.Yup, but I think Gunter is worth keeping around at that price.

3 rookies starting on offensive line
Oday Aboushi returns at RG
Lots of DEs, few DTs
T.J. Logan to return punts and kicks
Pierre is a RFA...I would bring both back.Yup, but I think Gunter is worth keeping around at that price.
Barksdale is a turnstile. Cardinals better hope he doesn’t get playing time for Rosen’s sake!Left tackle D.J. Humphries, who suffered a setback to his injured knee last week, was placed on injured reserve Wednesday to end his season. Replacing him on the roster is Joe Barksdale, who was released by the Chargers this week.

Didn't allow a sack in 300+ snaps last year, certainly worth a look at this point.Barksdale is a turnstile. Cardinals better hope he doesn’t get playing time for Rosen’s sake!

#Chargers Joe Barksdale was one of five OTs to not allow a sack this season (300+ passing snaps) https://t.co/NPgMIgU9EN
Wow, how is he a turnstile if he didn't allow one sack?

Yeah but he gave up a ton of pressures and penalties. Probably the reason he never gave up a sack was because Rivers was always watching his man and got the ball out in time soon as he saw his man beat Barksdale and also because the Chargers always sent more help whether it's by a TE or a RB to Barksdale's side than Okung's.Didn't allow a sack in 300+ snaps last year, certainly worth a look at this point.

He's a great guy and good veteran to have in the locker room but play wise it would be best for Rosen's health for him to not get many snaps.
