They sent Spiller down and traded for Ivan Novoseltsev for future considerations. About all I know about Novo is that he brings a ton of speed. He hasn't gotten much ice lately in Florida but hopefully this will spark him.

I think Novo was brought in to help our LW position. So far we have tried Savage and Sjostrom to go along with Nagy to bring some scoring to the LW position but both have failed. Novo has tons of speed, not great but decent size and he likes to head for the net with the puck instead of passing the puck off to other team mates (YAY!!! ). With his speed and the Western Confernece and Francis system he could prove to be a 20 goal scorer that sees time on both the PP and PK units.
