The only QB I have a round 2 grade on is Dobbs. I don't like Kizer or Webb at all. My likes in order,

Q. Wilson
Moreau
Melifonwu
K. King
Zay Jones
Lamp
Shaheen
Kamara
Robinson
Krupp

Harlan Miller is being moved to safety. That's why I've ignored the position. I thought he showed excellent potential. His frame says he can get stronger. Melifonwu is the exception. He's just beginning to explore his potential. He could be awesome if he continues to develop. Baker is good but doesn't figure to have such potential. However, the Cards need a CB the most. My biggest fear is one of the 2 QBs I don't like. They fit my "Ego" post thread. In fact I'm not sure Kizer's ego could fit through the locker room door. Kizer resented the tough love coaching at ND. If they pick him he's in for a thrill working with BA. I'm betting he'd take the money and fold!

That was a crazy and fun 1st round! I would have preferred Foster or Hooker but I rarely get what I want regarding Cardinal picks.

My gut says we go with one of the following in round 2:

David Webb
**** Tabor

I think King and Melifonwu are probably gone by our pick. Same with Lamp and Robinson.

Dobbs is my "not one of the big four" QB target

Although I was thinking round 3.

That's a good list, especially the top half. I hope you are right about Miller, and that we don't take Kiser.

What do you think about Sidney Jones? He would certainly miss time with the Achilles recovery.

Don't get why people like dobbs. He was awful at Tennessee. Why would he better as a pro?

I'm hoping for Wilson I think he really fits what we do. No thanks on Kizer also I hope somebody takes him early so we don't have to worry about it

Budda Baker - Stud playmaker who can play multiple positions in the def backfield
Quincy Wilson - Good size and can play CB or Safety
Kevin King - Good size and can play CB or Safety
Forrest Lamp - Versatile Lineman who can play multiple positions on the OL
Zay Jones - Big WR who has great hands. High Football Character.
JuJu Smith-Schuster - Strong WR similar to Anquan Boldin

I love all of these guys and one of them should be there when the Cardinals pick. The Cardinals love players who are versatile and have high football character.

You got it. I live in the Volunteer state and saw plenty of this guy. Smart kid and very competitive but he will never be an accurate enough passer to succeed in the NFL. Stay away in any round.

Hoping for King as he is versatile enough to play any secondary position including the slot. If not a CB, give me Demarcus Walker to bolster the DL and replace CC.

I think Tabor can be had in the 3rd. Teams are going to be shy away from his perceived lack of speed. King, Baker, and Lamp would be absolutely excellent value picks. Still don't like any QB's for the 2nd.

Yeah it makes no sense. He's more likely going to be building spacecraft or airplanes than playing football. IMO he's no better than Blogan Thomas

I wanted Foster over Reddick too, by the slimmest margin. Didn't care that he was high maintenance with this locker room. However, if the injury worry is legit, I am happy we went with Reddick.

I'm hoping we can get our QB in the 3rd round with Peterman. I'd love secondary help at #45

Lots of talent left. Cards should get a great player in the second round, and the third looks good as well. Would love to get Awuzie and Dupre. My favorites look like this:

Second Round:
OT Cam Robinson
WR Juju Smith
DT Malik McDowell
CB Kevin King
CB Chidobe Awuzie
CB Quincy Wilson

Third Round:
WR Malachi Dupre
OG Forrest Lamp
DE Tanoh Kapassagnon

Fourth +:
CB **** Tabor
RB Alvin Kamara
QB Joshua Dobbs

Late:
OG Damien Mama
RB Joe Williams
WR Noah Brown
K Zane Gonzalez
QB Chad Kelly
TE Jake Butt
DE Hunter Dimick

If the plan is to play Reddick inside, I think we picked him too high. Sure hope he plays better than Raekwon McMillan and Zach Cunningham -- two talented, experienced inside linebackers that will go well after him.

Cam Robinson looks intriguing if he somehow falls to us. Would give us a great future across the OL.

First - Reddick ran a 4.52 (not bad for a LB). He weighs a few pounds more than Foster. Reddick narrative fits the SK&BA rags to riches model. 30 teams passed on Foster in round one, so the reported surgery/rehab issue may be legit.

Day 2 - Cards go in seeking a QBOF, CB, S and probably an OL and replacements for Calais and Floyd. Still undrafted are Webb, Kizer, Dobbs...Smith-Schuster, Z Jones...Q Wilson, Awuzie, K King, Tankersley, S Jones, Moreau and Tabor...Melinfonwu, B Baker, Jerome...Feeney, Dawkins, Robinson...Kpassagnon

Our needs aren't few, but there are plenty of quality players available to help us.

Guys who intrigue me/who I'm rooting for: Kpassagnon (Eastern PA - Campbell clone), Jerome (Eastern PA - Huge post season)...Dobbs (Smart, athletic, plenty to work with), Melinfonwu (Raw measurables/starting to put it together).

Guys who concern me: Tabor (if his speed deficiency was close, I could forgive it, but he ran something like a 4.7). Kizer, Webb and Dobbs - because the challenges of becoming a really good franchise field general are really, really formidable).

His bigger problem was losing most of his talent around him. He won't have that problem here. Kizer had one flare up with Kelly and now it's being blown way out of context. Yes you want confidence in that position. He loves the game. Bet on that. He also may have a bit of a chip on his shoulder like Wilson did.

He wasn't accurate at all at ND in a pretty friendly QB system. He's not going to all of a sudden be accurate in the NFL. He's just not very good.
