No way Rackers gets cut after signing that extension. I could see Ross getting cut though.

After completely missing the DE at the end of the 3rd, Ross has to cut. If not cut then demoted!

As for Rackers, that's 2 consecutive games where he has missed a game winning field goal. Inexcusible! As much as I like him, he should be cut.

Cardinals | Rowen demoted; Kruczek promoted to offensive coordinator
Tue, 17 Oct 2006 11:18:41 -0700

Mike Jurecki, of XTRA 910 Sports Radio in Phoenix, reports the Arizona Cardinals have demoted offensive coordinator Keith Rowen to an undisclosed position. Quarterbacks coach Mike Kruczek has been promoted to the position and will handle the play-calling duties heading into Week 7.

Why ?

I remember when we hired the guy that all our college football heads thought he was a great addition ?

After the disasterous play calling in the 2nd 1/2 for the last 2 weeks how can we argue with this ?

how many offensive coordinators/special teams coordinators need to get fired before someone realizes, hey, maybe it's the guy PICKING THESE GUYS WHO NEEDS THE AXE?

If DG gets a stay of execution once this season is over, I will vomit.

Much easier to replace a Coordinator in the middle of the season than a HC. It won't be easy for DG to keep his job. I'm sure the Bidwill's have told him that anything less than 8-8 will cost him his job. That means he'll have to go 7-3 down the stretch. If they play like they did in the 1st half, they could go 10-0.

Agree. Denny is certainly in the hot seat but I would wait till the end of the season to make that decision.

Rackers won't be cut but Player certainly could.

The other punter in camp was very good. Problem is that Player is also the place kicking holder. But thinking about that, a change there may not matter at this point!

"I've known Keith for a long time. I have the utmost respect for him," Green said. "We are not scoring enough points."

"At certain times you feel like you have to do something different," Green said. "[Kruczek] is old-school all the way and that's what I think we need right now."

"I think his close working relationship with Matt Leinart will give us a better chance," Green said.

F Rowen.

My wife was calling the plays before they happened and she hasn't watched a game all the way to the end unless I take her to the stadium.

PASS TO SET UP THE RUN!!! HELLO.... MCFLY!!!!!! I KNOW IT WILL WORK MORE THAN JUST THE FIRST SERIES OF THE GAME!!!!

Well honestly he had his moments but in the end he failed to impress me enough, I had high hopes for the guy comming from the Chiefs and all but until they actually do the job you really don't know what's going to happen.

Next batter.

For the defense's sake, they had to feel like something was being done to help them win.

Rowen was in over his head as OC......he's a TE coach

Speaking of TE's, didn't Pope look awfully slow out there? I thought we was running 4.5 40's?

Rowen seemed to fail in his second half adjustments. The second half last night was just ugly O play calling!!! Didn't see the Chefs (googly moogly:) game but I would imagine it was similar.

I just heard his press conference. The QB coach has been promoted to OC and will maintain his job as QB coach as well.

They're trying to find a spot for Rowen

May I suggest TE's oh wait that's Hargrave. How about OL helping Loney?
