Did anyone catch the rule change for Rugby Style punting? This style of punting seemed to be gaining some popularity becuase it made teams have to think a bit before setting up for the kick return.

Now if the kicker leaves the tackle box for a punt on the run, he's free game to get smashed with no roughing the kicker penalty.

Good rule? Bad Rule?

I think it's fine because it still leaves room for fakes, but it does give the return team a little more of an advantage for forcing the punt in the first place.

Great Rule.

You get an experienced fullback from one of the national teams and you could have a guy that can run about a 4.7, who is built for contact, and can kick about 35 yards on the run.

Sick.

You watch, there will be a fake punt, and while the punter is running, he is going to throw a rugby pass (which is always backwards so it is legal) and hit a guy in stride, and it will go for a TD.
