Arkansas freshman Boogie Fland reportedly entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Fland, a former four-star prospect by 247Sports, also declared for the 2025 NBA draft earlier this month. He is said to be committed to remaining in the draft and opted to enter the transfer portal only as insurance in case he opts to return to play college basketball next season.
The 6-foot-2 guard added his name to the portal on the last day of the transfer window. He is listed with a no-contact tag, indicating that he intends to turn pro this year.
Fland averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals on 34% shooting from 3-point range. He was limited to just 21 appearances with the Razorbacks after missing two months following surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in January.
The 18-year-old was on pace to earn at least an SEC All-Freshman Team selection after a strong start to the season. He finished in double figures in eight straight games from Dec. 10-Jan. 14, averaging 16.5 points, 6.3 assists, three rebounds and 1.6 steals over that span.
Fland will be able to gauge his draft stock in team workouts and the combine on May 11-18 in Chicago, Illinois. He has until May 28 to withdraw from the draft.
The 2025 NBA draft will occur June 25-26 in New York City.
