Our Corporate Offices are in the Cleveland area & there was a rumor spreading that there was a trade brewing between the Browns & Cardinals. We would package Honey Badger & our 15th overall pick to move up into Cleveland’s 4th slot. The word was that Cleveland sorely needs veteran leadership in their secondary. Just a rumor. I can’t imagine Cleveland would be that stupid.
I would do it in a heartbeat! Without blinking an eye

HB is my favorite player, so I don't like it. But from an objective football perspective I'd consider it... not until draft day though.

I would agree it would have to be a draft day trade because wouldn't the cards want to know who is on the board when they had the fourth pick? Plus we would have to eat the almost 10 mil dead cap hit.

Would be an awesome trade and gets us our QB and frees up All that money that would have been wasted on an average player. Plus our QB will be cheap for four years so we can build the team up around him.

It would cost more then a 1st and TM to move up.

I'd guess they're targeting Mayfield there. Rosen and Darnold are mtl, gone 1 & 2. But it"s possible Rosen could fall there.

That would be a great move by the Cardinals, IMHO. If they pull that off, I would be impressed.

Agreed.

I have been playing with the Mock Simulators over the last month, and it rarely happens, but there are times that Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield, and Jackson are all taken by the time the Cardinals pick at 15. Sometimes Josh Allen as well.

I would trade up to take Mayfield, or Lamar Jackson and not think twice about it, and if Darnold were to drop into the Cardinals lap? Wouldn't complain.

Cleveland has the cap space to do it. It's feasible. The trade would have to be done the first day of the new year, March 14th, when TM is due his $5M roster bonus. Can't see the Cardinals paying that and then trading TM.

However, why take on TM's $14M a year salary when at #4 they could draft one of the more talented and versatile CB/Ss to come out in years in Minkah Fitzpatrick?

I guess the Browns could see it as 2 for 1: TM + whomever they pick at #15.

The contract with HB is null-and-void unless they pay the bonus on day 1. Cards would either absorb the cost to complete the deal or get something in kind in return from Cleveland, likely a pick.

Cleveland has put together a solid management team. They have talent and assets.

"Cleveland is a joke" may go by the wayside fairly quickly.

If the Cardinals had a dollar for every time someone says that, they could sign Kurt Cousins. Just sayin'

Personally, I don't believe any team would want a DB with a bad wheel and would give up a top 5 pick to get him.

Fantasy: TM’s contract is more of a millstone than an asset. It’s worthless in a trade even to a team with caproom.
