I call BS. If anything the Jags will try to genetically merge Leftwich and Gerrard into a QB that can last an entire season.

Byrvid Leftwichard.

I like Leftwich but does anyone else think that his throwing motion is too slow? It seems like he has to really wind it up to get the ball out.

I was wondering why Atlanta hadn't tried to trade for Jake either?

Must be caproom.

Leftwich being cut would be pretty interesting they were saying a couple of weeks ago he was as healthy as he's been since he broke the leg in college
and had a good camp.

Garrard had a much better preseason looking at the stats.

Actually Garrard had a bad preseason. Word was if Garrard proved he could handle the team for the year, they would cut Leftwich. Word is, they werent satisfied with his progress, thus I dont think Lefty will be cut.

I think Atlanta is fine with Harrington.

Note: I felt this way before the Bengals game.

He had a much higher passer rating and YPA but I don't know who played against who etc.

I'm not a big believer in Garrard either I just don't think he throws the ball consistently, but Leftwich has had so many problems staying healthy I have decided he's not their guy either.

2003 was probably our best draft class in a long time.

Q, Hayes, Wells, and BJ. One super star and 3 solid players. Not to bad.

Of course the Q is the one shining star of the Cardinals' 2003 draft. Hayes is solid, and Wells was drafted where he should have been. However, if given the opportunity, I would trade Johnson and Pace for Suggs in a heartbeat.

Pace has just not worked out in my opinion, and Kevin Kasper could have put up Johnson like numbers if were still here.

I would trade them both for Suggs as well.

And no way is Kasper better than Johnson.

Suggs would have sucked here. He went to a place with a role built for him...he's honestly not that special. He would have struggled mightily here without the defense around him to allow him to rush the passer free.

I think that Suggs would be pretty good in an OLB role for a 3-4 team. We didn't have that position when he was drafted but now we could probably use him.

He may not have put up the number he has in Balt -- but I still think he would be very good
