Rumor: Todd Heap may be released

There is some talk that Todd Heap may be released with the Ravens picking up a few TE's in the draft.

I love the way Todd Heap played football. I would have loved to see him and Q on the field at the same time, especially in their prime.

That said, I'm not sure how much he has left in the tank.

Saw an interview with Harbaugh during the draft and he was raving about how hard Heap has worked this office and how he is an integral part of the Ravens offense.

I dont think it will happen, nor do I think we'd look to him considering he doesn't block overly well and is always nicked up.

Heape was working in Harbaugh's office? No way he gets cut.

If there were any way to snag Heape (which I seriously doubt) I'd be all over it as we haven't had a pass catching tight end with his skills in many years.

Todd Heap WAS a good TE. His numbers have fallen way off the past couple of years.

I think he's a great player, but I see him more in street clothes than I do on the field. Way too injury prone
