Kyle MacAlarny, the Irish point guard arrested for posession of marijuana was expelled from Notre Dame this week. The guy is good and he made a court plea to a lesser charge and his record will be expunged after a one year's probation, so I'm sure he'll catch on somewhere.

My question is: Does he still have to sit out a year? Technically, he's not transfering and his grades were decent.

I read that and thought about your prediction that's what would happen.

I think he does still have to transfer because when they kick him out, they release him from his scholarship. SO I'm pretty sure he'll have to sit out a year before he plays for USC err whoever decides to take him.
