Although I like Lecky a lot.
I watched Kalil today. Dude looks like a stud. I would not cry if we drafted him.
Second that motion.Doubt if he will last to our pick in the 2nd round. However if he does it would be a non-brainer to take him.

I love the thought of the Cards drafting Ryan. He's worked with Leinart for years and with Deuce.
Kalil is a stud. I would also be surprised if he is there for our 2nd round pick. I wouldn't be surprised if the Browns took him with Bentleys career threatning injury. The Browns may also consider drafting a TE in round 2 with Winslow out for at least next year
Winslow is a huge disapointment huh?
I was pimping Ryan on the other board since last August....and got flamed for it. Not only is Ryan technically sound, but he's tough and is a very, very smart player.
You can call me a homer (and you are probably right) but Ryan was a big part of the "Big Uglies" o-line that was so successful at USC....he, Matt and Deuce were a tight group and they had total trust in each other.....if you look at the biggest plays made while these guys were in college, Ryan was a huge part of those plays.
I have read that chemistry is an important factor in the success of an o-line.....and here we have an opportunity to draft one more member of argueably one of the greatest offenses in college football history.
Great post. man. I didn't flame you on it...in fact, I would be tempted to trade the #5 to the Pats for their 2 1st rounders (#24, #28) so that we could take CB Dameion Hughes and C Ryan Kalil and then tab T Tony Ugoh at #39. This is about the only way we will be able to take Kalil...he'll be gone by pick #37 (the Browns picking right in front of us).

Where would you guys say Kahli is at this point in comparison to Nick Mangold last year?
