Apparently the network admin disabled Flash player - is there a way around that (that won't get me in trouble)??

Thanks! These are the messages I get:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player.

So I click on the link, then I get this:
Important Message: You may need to click the gold bar at the top of the browser window to allow the install.

My last suggestion would be to install Firefox and see if you can get it to work in there.... Foil the network admin at his own game!

Ha! Are you kidding me?? They won't even let me download a screen saver nor Google Earth. Firefox would get me fired.

Darn, I can't watch YouTubes at work now that they've changed out all the CPUs.

That gold bar is the ActiveX control.... They must have blocked that component, if you use FireFox, they don't use ActiveX

What about Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom Level> look for download signed ActiveX controls ... change it from prompt to enable ... then go and try to install the latest flash player ...

Yep, tried that too. I enable everything, then when I open my browser again, everything is disabled again.
