Major golf events in Europe could face pressure to restrict spectator areas after a woman hit by a "bullet" golf ball during the Ryder Cup said she plans to sue organisers after losing her sight in one eye. Corine Remande, 49, suffered the horrific injury at Le Golf National after a stray tee shot on Friday by Brooks Koepka, the 28-year-old American player. "Quite clearly, there is responsibility on the part of the organisers," said Ms Remande, following emergency treatment at a specialist eye hospital.
