Who will be the automatic qualifiers for the U.S. team at the Ryder Cup? That question will be answered after this week’s PGA Championship. Captain Jim Furyk will announce the eight automatic qualifiers on Monday, Aug. 13. (The four captain’s picks will be selected in September, with three coming after the Dell Technologies Championship and the final one taking place after the BMW Championship.) There’s one week left to earn Ryder Cup points toward the U.S. team, and only the top eight in the standings after the PGA Championship will gain automatic spots.
