I need the address for the writer who thought it was a good idea to make Tiger (and a couple of the others too) mad before the Ryder Cup, because that guy just made it a little more likely we will pull off the victory. And I would like to send him a gift.

U-S-A!!!

You DON'T want to pis off Tiger Woods just before an event on the scale of the Ryder Cup... Thank you Dubliner!!!

I'll be watching alright! A very close friend of mine got invited to travel with Tom Lehman and his wife and attend the Ryder Cup!
The odds are stacked against the U.S., but Lehman is a very inspirational and motivational man. Coupled with Tiger seriously wanting to rip some Irish heads off their shoulders, well - the odds have been trimmed to say the least!!!

U-S-A!!!! U-S-A!!!!

On another note - great to see Darren Clarke back... I had the honor of meeting him last year, and was thoroughly impressed with him. Very sad story with his wife's death due to cancer... He has handled it as gracefully and with as much class as anyone possibly could... Great man for sure and I hope he plays well - just not too well!!!

Europe up 2.5 to 1.5 after the morning's matches. Tiger did win his match.

Personally, I hate golf but IMO there should be a new way of picking the players. Are we supposed to believe that guys like Chad Campbell, J.J. Henry, Zach Johnson, Vaughn Taylor & Brett Wetterich are the best the US can put out there?

i actully thought these guys were better than the older (maybe better) players!

they seemed to care more about what the were playing for IMO

Well, you're right... sort of... Henry & Johnson played well and with passion, but the other newbie's stunk it up bigtime...
But clearly, the biggest dissapointments were Mickleson, Furyk, DiMarco and even Tiger to an extent.

Hats off to the Euros once again. Dammm do they play well in this format! And Darren Clarke was awesome. What an emotional lift he provided! Great stuff!!
