Another move that makes really no sense unless he was good at ST? Jefferson and Swearinger are doing good and you want to bring in another S in?

If you're one of those who's disappointed about special teams performance, you want Branch back instead of CJ.

Not surprising, we are very thin in the backfield, behind Jefferson and Swearinger is Christian Bryant. Plus Simon and Mathieu have been out a few weeks.

Ellington has been doing well as of late.

Branch was playing a lot of special teams. I guess it only makes sense in this overhyped season to bring our most overhyped FA acquisition back for another bite of the apple.

That's a special teams move entirely. CJ doesn't add anything to our team right now. Maybe branch can shore up a hole in special teams.

Don't be hating, he's a body. We need bodies on special teams. I'm not sure what else they can do.

Got any ideas? I mean for right now?

He is tall for a DB, very fast and physical. Should at least be a little special teams upgrade. At the start of the season he was a miscast at slot corner, because his hips aren't fluid enough to play in the slot. Honestly I wouldn't mess with our great safety duo Swearinger and Jefferson, and Mathieu should be ready again for slot duties. So other than special teams, maybe he can challenge Bethel. I think Branch would show better instincts than Bethel.

For me, getting Swearinger and Jefferson back next year would be huge... and I really like Swearinger's vocal presence and physical play on the field

Having TM play has not been the same as having the old TM back. I completely agree on those safeties, but that makes TM the most expensive nickel back in history!

Sad to say it but 60% of me was hoping we wouldn't spend all that money on the badger. Kind of the same feeling as Amare's knees

I think we all knew, or should have suspected, that Honey Badger would have a down year. It's normal with this kind of injury, especially happening so late in the season last year. Going forward, with the rising cost of contracts, I think and hope we'll be very happy we locked him up in this deal.
