Scrimmage Game --- Papua New Guinea Cubs

We haven't scouted them...but according to the scout charts - their freakin awesome. So far the early signs indicates that "strength" is back and their slowbuild oline looks as good as gets. The energy substitution has been set to give everyone a fair amount of playing time.

Our defense AI is set w/ some heavy blitzing. We'll definitely see how the "fearsome" VA works - hopefully the way we want.

Please set your player accordingly to the tactics below:

OFFENSE

QBs - Scramble, Never dump, Medium Style, Favor Long - No.
Cs - Run Blocking
OLs - Balanced Blocking
HBs - Pass Blocking
TEs, FBs & WRs - Run Blocking
Wr's - Route Running Style: Elusive and Creative if Agility over 60.

Running backs/Wide Receivers
C.Kidd/T.Thunder favor
"Super elusive" on slider. Passing - Run exact route
P. Johnson favor power on slider.
Passing - Run exact route

.............................................

Defense

General
Pass Rush: All on elusive except Nt's (Cain/Kimo/Power)
Tackling: All on Wrap up except Nt's/Dt's - Go for Power tackling.
Coverage Distance/Style:
Lb's/SS/FS's on close distance & medium style. Cb's Close and Aggressive (We want Picks)

Position Focus

Dline

Nt's Run
Dt's Pass
De's Pass

Lb's
Lolb's Balance (Stan/Nathan)
Mlb's Run (Sands/Brandon/Roy)
Rolb's Balance (AhAy/Ember)

Secondary
SS's Run
FS's Pass
Cb's Pass (Go for Pick)

Superspck...follow-up to my earlier PM:

Either our FB runs with the ball or blocks...no way we should have them in passing plays.

These replays I think you'll agree sums it up:

In one instance it was a no-play error b/c of a bad input. It shouldn't come up again.

On any play but FB streak for my pass plays the FB is usually in blocking.

Superspck:

We're you testing out our passing game?

They played a lot of 4-2-5 Nickel (3 CBs) Cover 2 zone on our passing plays - that's a good defense vs. the pass because they don't bite on the pump fakes while in zone coverage.

Kickers are people too! :D Good Job! He also dished out the moral to the guys sitting on the bench.

lol...there was a kickoff inwhich his kicker pancaked somebody...that made me smile.

I had it how we needed it for the time being. I've always had my blockers at the "1" slot.

Gonna change it back until I get the gumption to run through all the scripts again. I already did that once today.

Thanks though.

I'll also change the packages up slightly then too, but I'll roll with what I got.

Joelf - definitely set C. Kidd on power running.

That super elusive is just too much dancing.
