This guy averaged 14mpg and 10ppg in the playoffs. Not bad for 39 year old player. Why the Blazers can use him against a bad Mavs frontcourt and the Suns can't use 25 year old C against the twin towers? Isn't Sabonis supposed to slow down the Blazers offensive game? Who is better right now?

Sabonis is about 100 times smarter than Jake, and can shoot much better.

And is a superb passer.

I have to admit I love watching Arvydas Sabonis play. Some of the moves he makes at his size just makes me shake my head.

It also kind of makes me said as a basketball fan because I never got to see him in his prime...what a player he must have been.

I agree Chris.

That over his head backwards pass yesterday was incredible. And his touch pass to Rasheed...you barely see point guards with passing ability like that.

He's amazing.

You guys should have seen Sabonis before his terrible injuries. That guy was one of a kind.

I feel the same way, if he played in the NBA in his hayday, I cant help but think he would of been the best player ever... He is incredably slow an is still a solid threat at 39 and over weight...

I would sign him in a heart beat even at 40 :)
