Sabres LW Vanek likely out for Game 5 (AP)

Sabres left wing Thomas Vanek will likely miss Game 5 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against the Boston Bruins Friday night. Vanek is still nursing a lower-body injury sustained in Game 2. Sabres coach Lindy Ruff will shake up his lineup for the pivotal fifth game, inserting Nathan Gerbe for veteran winger Raffi Torres.
