You crazy? Minne wouldn't have a chance against the Lakers--at least the Kings would have better odds of beating the Lakers -- and would be more entertaining.

I really dont think the Kings have that good of a chance anymore either though. Webber is a shell of himself, their bench is weak this year compared to years past, Pedja has been horrible.

I think they have similar chances of success (not great), but I like KG, and HATE the Kings. So go Wolves!

KG definitely isn't getting many calls to start this half.

How about Spree? These last couple games he has been a monster.

He may not be getting the calls but he is playing out of his mind right now!

TWolves Win
Christie missed the 3

Webber missed the last second 3, almost went in too.

KG was amazing.

32 points
21 rebounds
5 blocks (including one in the last 3 seconds)
4 steals.

And a lot of it was in the 4th quarter. They won because KG wouldn't let them loose.

Anyone else think Sprewell is worthless out there?

Mike

Especially when his "rear end" tightens up at FT line near the end of close games.

SAC's main objective under a minute should of been to foul Spree. I knew they were in trouble when they fouled Sam I Am.

Sprewell has done a great job for the Wolves on the court, in the locker and off the court.

Can't say the same about his hairstylist.

Sprewell single-handedly won the Wolves Game 5.

Plus, when Sprewell was defending Mike Bibby, Bibby couldn't get anything going.

Sprewell was HUGE for the Timberwolves in this series.

I'm happy that KG made it to the West Conf Finals, but I really think that the Lakers have it pretty easy now getting to the title, going through Minne and whoever comes out of the Least.

I don't think the Kings would have fared any better. Bibby is the only player on the team who can make a big shot, and they aren't any stronger defensively.

The only edge I'd see them having over Minnesota (if playing against the Lakers) is that they'd have a somewhat easier time defending O'Neal. That's important, but not everything.

Wrong. Experience can go a long way against the Lakers, instead they get a team that has never been this deep in the playoffs. Ignore it if you like, but it DOES matter.

I'm not too sure how the Lakers will defend KG, but other than that, I don't see any way that the Wolves can win this series. I'd say it will go no more than 6, possibly 5 games. At best.

At least with Sacramento, they are one of the few teams that can outscore a team, even if the opponent has an above average day.

Sacramento probably needs to look hard at blowing that team up. You can never count on Peja or Webber in the clutch, Brad Miller is just a big idiot who hacks everybody, and their bench in the playoffs was awful. Sucks for SacTown becasue they probably would have won this series had Bobby Jackson not been injured. Neither team is able to touch LA or San Antonio though.

You can see the differences between these two teams and championship caliber teams like the Spurs and Lakers. How many times did Min or Sacramento just try and give away a win throughout the series? How often do you see the Spurs or Lakers do that? Game 5 of the LA/SA series you had each team hit clutch shot after shot. You saw LA & SA close each other out when games came near the end. During the Min/Sac series it seemed like bad possessions, turnovers, and horrible defense dominated the end of games. The difference in the series was Minnesota had two players w/ heart and poise under pressure(KG and Cassell), while the Kings only had one (Bibby).

I will concede, however, that Peja being MIA was a huge blow for the Kings, but he had been pretty useless for the last 2 months. You'd hate to place blame, but if I had to, I'd definitely put most of it on Peja--he didn't show up for his team. Hmmm, actually, it's been like that since Webber got back. Tell you something? :D
