I didn't watch the game, so their loss 95-109 loss is disappointing, but only somewhat. Historically it is hard for guys to find their legs after a hard week of running. The Suns shot only 2 of 16 for three, compared to 6 of 17 by the Kings. Statiscally, a few things stand out:

Nash only played 6 minutes and only took one shot. Hill was another who played under 6 minutes and had a single basket.

Their stop scorer was J-Rich who shot 6 of 11, but only 1 of 5 for three (his 5 rebounds tied him for second on the team.)

Dudley was quite good: 5 of 8 and 1 of 3 for 3, 2 of 3 from the line, and 5 boards and 2 assists.

Lopez shot 6 of 10 and 3 of 4 FT, but only had 6 rebounds in 31 minutes.

The two best rebounders were Jones with 5 board in 16.49 minutes and Childress with 5 boards in 18.59.

Warrick scored 4 of 5 and 3 of 4 from the line, but only had a single board in 15.43 minutes.

The only players under contract that didn't play were Lawal and Frye.

Clearly rebounding will be an issue this season as overall the Kings had 47 to the Suns 36. They have a way to go.
