Saints sign Harrington as third QB (AP)

Joey Harrington signed with the New Orleans Saints on Friday and participated in his first practice. He will back up starter Drew Brees and second-string quarterback Mark Brunell. Harrington, a standout at Oregon, has spent six seasons in the NFL since being drafted third overall by Detroit in 2002. He played for Miami in 2006 and for Atlanta last season.
